- These tips are offered as a courtesy. I do hope that they will be of some help. I will update them as I find things I think might be of help to viewers.
- To browse my FREE Pages, CLICK on first entry of an INDEX Selection and then turn the pages by clicking on the NEXT button at bottom of each page. If you wish to hear the music, click on music bar AFTER selected page has been downloaded to your screen. If you have any problems hearing the music, download the latest version of Windows Media Player
- Since adding a confirmation advice to my "Send This Page To A Friend" email, I am informed which designs are selected, and this allows me to replace the unused with new designs.
HOWEVER, if the email form opens and the http address (URL) of the page selected is NOT automatically UNDERLINED, the selected design CAN STILL be sent via this programme. Unfortunately this email may arrive without the address underlined which prevents it being clicked on. This appears to happen mainly when sent to PC users from WEBTV and AOL. However, there is an easy solution.
If a receiver can't open the address sent to them, because it is not underlined, all they need to do is copy the http (URL) address and paste it to the address bar.(example shown below) Click on it and the email will open up for them.
- IMPORTANT TIP:-
Most of you who are on the Internet a lot already know this but one needs to 'clear their cache' of Internet files frequently. If you don't you'll begin to find that pages do not open up for you. I have mine set to not store pages in a cache but to 'open a new page each time I visit a site'. Also, I clean out my temporary files/history frequently.
To set your browser to give you a new page every time you visit a site go to "TOOL" on your browser task bar. Then click go to 'browsing history' then click on settings and you will see the option of having a new page display each time. Now you will ALSO see the option to delete all these files. Cleans out your browsing system and opens up an amazing amount of room if you are one who surfs a lot.
CAUTION:-
Before deleting these files be sure you have your passwords written down some where safely as they will be deleted when the cookies are deleted.
